Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that Ankara supports the Palestinians with the same attitude as it previously supported Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh
“We are saddened and outraged by the brutality of the terrorist state of Israel. Turkey’s position on this issue is principled. “Just as we supported Azerbaijan’s struggle to liberate Nagorno-Karabakh and its occupied territories yesterday, we act today with the same spirit against persecution in Jerusale”, – the Turkish leader said.
Erdoğan explained that he has already held talks with the leaders of 19 countries, during which he discussed with them “developments in Jerusalem and other Palestinian cities”.
