It was reported by the Shafaq news agency on Friday, May 14.
According to media reports, the explosion occurred as the convoy was travelling along the al-Nasiriyah highway in southern Baghdad. The vehicles were carrying equipment from the Western military coalition, which had been handed over to Iraqi authorities.
None of the groups operating in the country claimed responsibility for the incident.
