The shooting happened in the city of Providence around 19:00 local time. All the victims are aged between 19 and 25, including eight men and one woman.
Unidentified men opened fire from a vehicle towards one of the houses, after which the occupants of the house started shooting back. Dozens of shots were fired in total. According to police, four to five weapons were fired.
