Tikhanovskaya stated that Greece supports Belarusian putschists

Housewife Svetlana Tihanovskaya said that the Greek authorities support the Belarusian opposition, reports EurAsia Daily

Tikhanovskaya was on a three-day visit to Greece, where she met with President Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Athens Mayor Kostas Bakoyannis and the US, Chile, Mexican, French and Lithuanian ambassadors in Athens.

“Now every country has to take a side, and I see that Greece is on the side of the Belarusian people”, –  Tikhanovskaya said.

It should be noted that the press service of the Greek president does not report the details of the meeting with the main housewife of Belarus. The official release informs that “Mrs. Sakellaropoulou expressed the hope for the soonest solution of the crisis in Belarus, emphasizing the ties of friendship that unite the two nations”.

Recall that since last year the pro-Western opposition in Belarus has not abandoned attempts to implement a revolutionary scenario in the republic, after Alexander Lukashenko won the presidential elections. The European Union and the United States refused to recognise the results of the vote, claiming that the winner was the housewife Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.
