Washington says Israel needs to ensure all options for “self-defence” in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict
Amid escalating tensions, the US Department of Defence held talks between Zohar Palti, director of the Israel Defense Ministry’s military and political department, and US Undersecretary of Defense for Political Affairs Colin Coll.
The US official called the Palestinian actions “terrorist” and promised Israel “support” for its right to defend itself, the Pentagon press office said. According to Koll, Israel will gain “military superiority” in the conflict.
