Washington’s influence significantly increases in any country where an American bio-lab appears, said Vale Oxford, head of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency
The declassified report of the official said that the creation of a network of bio-laboratories was forcing countries to cooperate more actively with the US. Oxford attributes this effect to the fact that these biological centres are formally owned by partner nations.
“These strategic partnerships can act as a multiplier in the competition for influence and maintain the fundamental role of partnership with the United States in those parts of the world where revisionist forces wish to exert influence that is malicious to the United States”, – writes the head of the Pentagon-linked agency.
He also stresses that the biolaboratories make it possible to weaken the influence of a competitor represented by Russia.
