The European Union will remain united in the face of the global challenge posed by the Russian Federation, and in this context will increase the “stability” of Ukraine and the entire Eastern Partnership.
Vice-President of the European Commission Maros Sefchovic announced this at a press conference following the EU Council of Ministers for General Affairs.
“Regarding Russia, we stressed the need to remain united in the face of this strategic challenge. We must increase the resilience of Ukraine and other eastern partners, invest in (development) Russian civil society and facilitate people-to-people contacts”, – said the EU official.
