The well-known publicist Alexei Pushkov, on his page on the social network, asks what goal the likely meeting of the leaders of the United States and Russia may pursue.
“Biden is determined to meet with Putin. For what? Discuss Russia’s return to the G8? But Lavrov has already stated: Russia will never return there. And Biden is unlikely to give up NATO activity near our borders, as well as the imposed sanctions. This means that the purpose of the meeting is to control the confrontation”, – Pushkov is sure.
