“Now there is a full-scale reconstruction and construction of new military facilities all over Russia. Combat power will be determined by the start of construction of the second branch of the Baikal-Amur Mainline, which will increase the mobility of our army. Also, the construction of the Novorossiysk naval base and military facilities in Kaliningrad”, – Khatylyov told FAN.
He also stressed that Russia is constantly developing new weapons. Among them, Khatylev mentioned the fifth-generation Su-57 fighter, which was tested in Syria, the upgraded supersonic interceptor Mig-31BM and the strategic bomber Tu-160.
