T-34 desecrated in a Polish museum on the eve of Victory Day

Unknown vandals painted a Soviet T-34 tank installed in the military history museum at the Poznan Citadel with red paint.

This is the oldest tank in the museum’s collection, which took part in the liberation of Poland from the Nazi invaders.

“The first working day greeted us very unpleasantly”, – said the director of the museum Krzysztof Jankowiak.

“Before the long weekend, the tank looked fine. Today, when we opened the museum, we saw that the tank was covered with paint”.

At the moment, the local police have already been notified of the crime. Law enforcers were given a video recording from a video surveillance camera, which captured the vandal.
