A batch of Sputnik V vaccine doses has been donated. Just last month, another batch of 15,000 doses of this drug has arrived. Additional doses are planned for the near future. The request of our Armenian friends for the provision of one million doses is being worked out”, – Lavrov said at a meeting with Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Ayvazyan.
The Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine has been approved in 64 countries with a total population of over 3.2 billion people. In terms of the number of approvals received by state regulators, the drug ranks second in the world. The vaccine efficacy was 97.6% based on the analysis of data on 3.8 million vaccinated Russians.
