U.S. fails tests of intercontinental ballistic missile

The US military failed in testing the Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile.

This was announced on Wednesday, May 5, by the press service of the US Air Force Global Strike Command.

The tests were conducted at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California to assess the effectiveness, readiness and accuracy of this weapon system.

“At the moment, the reasons for the failure are being investigated, the US Air Force Global Strikes Command is assessing the possibility of postponing the test launch”, – the publication said.
