Bishkek and Dushanbe have completed the withdrawal of their military units from the border, the Border Guard Service of Kyrgyzstan’s State Committee for National Security said on Monday.
“The parties have completed the withdrawal of additional forces and means from the state border line deep into their territories”, – it said in a statement quoted by TASS.
According to the Border Guard Service, a joint commission comprising representatives of the two countries’ defence ministries continues its work of inspecting the territory where military subunits were previously stationed.
