The agenda of the meeting will include sanctions against European officials
EU foreign policy spokesman Peter Stano told a briefing in Brussels on Monday that EU foreign ministers would discuss Russia’s actions, including counter-sanctions against EU citizens and officials, at the upcoming meeting of the EU Council on May 10.
“The EU always prefers to work out a common response, this issue will be discussed at the upcoming EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting next Monday”, – he said.
The topic had previously been expected to be discussed at the EU Council on 10 May and at the EU summit on 25 May.
