European security directly depends on cooperation with Moscow
Such a statement was made by Wolfgang Ischinger, head of Munich Security Conference.
According to him, Russian-European relations have reached a historic low today.
“We are faced with the dilemma that a sustainable European security architecture can only be formed together with Russia, but at the same time many European countries need protection from Russia”, – he said.
Ischinger is confident that “it will take time” to normalise relations. At the same time, he admitted that despite the sanctions policy, dialogue between the parties is necessary.
