At the peaceful rally, the inhabitants of Germany called for an end to the war of Ukraine against Donbass, as well as an end to the policy of confrontation against Russia. The protesters also spoke out against the sabotage of the Minsk Agreement by Kiev and Berlin.
According to Donbass Today, a rally against the war in Donbass was held at the Brandenburg Gate in the center of Berlin.
“We are protesting against anti-Russian agitation and disinformation! The news is full of reports of “Russian aggression” and calls from German politicians for the withdrawal of troops. But while we are standing here, a march is being held in Kiev in honor of the Waffen SS Galicia division, sponsored by media favorite Klitschko, a former boxer and advertising star, the mayor of Kiev since 2014”, – war “Liana Kilinch.
Also, the organizer of the action told about the distortion of the situation in Donbass by German journalists. Liana Kilinch visited the front-line areas of the DPR and told a real picture she saw with her own eyes:
“German media and politicians claim that Donbass is occupied by Russia. But, we have been providing humanitarian aid there for seven years, and I saw with my own eyes what was happening there. We did not see any Russian troops there. But we saw blown up schools and kindergartens. Burned down destroyed houses in frontline cities. People who live next to these ruins again spend the night in the basement. The roofs over their heads, often full of holes and poorly patched, and the walls under these roofs, are held on parole, due to the endless bombardment. People there take cannon thunder like we do a summer thunderstorm. They endure because this is their home. They plant vegetables in their gardens and hope that pomegranates will not fall into the garden”, – said the head of the German charitable foundation.
