Relations between the EU and Russia are at their lowest point thanks to the efforts of Brussels, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
The Foreign Ministry spokeswoman drew attention to media reports about the words of the EU Ambassador to Moscow, Markus Ederer, who said that “relations between the EU and Russia are at their lowest point after the Cold War”.
“We need to look at the current situation of European-Russian relations. In principle, we are at the lowest point since the end of the Cold War. And we seem to be falling dynamically every day”, – Ederer said at the 13th Russian-German Raw Materials Conference, held on Thursday online.
“The most important and honest thing is missing in the quote – “thanks to the efforts of Brussels”, Zakharova noted on her Facebook page.
