Moscow rejects Kiev’s accusations of organizing a cyber attack, as well as Western statements about cyber threats from the Russian Federation, this is propaganda, Andrei Krutskikh, director of the Foreign Ministry’s international information security department, told reporters.
“I’m tired of commenting not only on Kiev’s accusations – it’s just crazy going on there, but in general all Western accusations are built on the same cliché and have an internal content to distract their own people”, – Krutskikh said, answering a question from RIA Novosti how Moscow can comment on statements Kiev about organizing a hacker attack.
Recently, the SBU announced that it had detained a citizen of Ukraine on suspicion of organizing a cyberattack against the Ukrainian authorities in the interests of Moscow.
“Any accusations must be substantiated. If there are no such grounds, then this is just abuse, slander and just propaganda. We must blame someone for something and not be held responsible. This is bad manners in politics”, – Krutskikh said.
