US intelligence agencies reiterate allegations that hackers from Russia are hacking into government networks

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency said that “cyber entities of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service will continue to seek access to sensitive US and foreign information”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the US Department of Homeland Security and its subordinate Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency (CISA) have again made allegations of Russian involvement in hacking US governmental networks. This was stated in a CISA document circulated on Monday.

“Cybersubs of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service will continue to seek access to sensitive US and foreign information through cyber-attacks, using techniques of varying sophistication”, –  the report claims. – “Russian intelligence is primarily targeting government networks, think tanks and information technology companies.”

Russia has repeatedly denied allegations of malicious activity in cyberspace attributed to the United States.
