A meeting between U.S. and Russian presidents Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden may take place in June, but the final decision will depend on many factors. This was stated by Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian head of state
Ushakov said that there are “signals, of course,” from the American side about the intention to hold a meeting of the leaders. However, he said, there is no discussion of the summit at the working level yet.
“There is no discussion yet, but a signal has been received, we will consider it”, – the Russian presidential aide said. – “Depending on many factors, we will make a decision, of course.”
However, Ushakov clarified that “they call June, there are even specific dates” as a possible date for a meeting between Putin and Biden. He did not specify the date, only repeating that it was June.
