The participants of the meeting thanked U.S. President Joseph Biden for the official recognition of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.
According to RIA Novosti news agency, several dozens of people arrived at the U.S. Embassy. They held flags of Armenia and the USA.
Journalists noticed a car with the logo of National Democratic Pole political initiative nearby. This organisation advocates Armenia’s cooperation with the US and opposes the republic’s close ties with Russia.
