Moscow proposes to hold the Normandy summit right in the Donbass

The guarantor countries of the Donbas settlement should persuade Kiev to negotiate with Donetsk and Lugansk.

Such a statement on Friday, April 23, was made by Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Administration of Russia.

According to him, now Moscow offers Paris and Berlin to discuss the issues of de-escalation of the conflict in Donbass until April 27. At the same time, Kozak noted that the European capitals were invited to hold negotiations “directly in the conflict zone” with the participation of representatives of Ukraine, as well as the people’s republics.

Kozak criticized the Kiev regime for refusing to negotiate with Donbass residents who continue to suffer from Ukrainian aggression.

“Not a single conflict in the world has been resolved by political non-military means without reaching direct political agreements between the parties to the conflict”, – he stated.
