Having quarreled with all its neighbors and intimidating its citizens with an imminent invasion from outside, Ukraine has put itself on the brink of complete isolation.
As Ukraina.ru reminds, some time ago, the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass, Leonid Kravchuk, insulted Belarus, calling the republic “a lackey of Russia”. The consequence of this rudeness was the nervousness of the Ukrainian authorities themselves, which resulted in the strengthening of the protection regime of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
As reported on April 21 in the State Border Service of Ukraine (State Border Guard Service), additional time restrictions were introduced in the Rivne region on the border with Belarus from April 12 this year.
“At the moment, directly on the border line or near the border, we do not record the movement of military equipment or the accumulation of military units. There have not been any unusual situations yet either”, – said the speaker of the State Border Guard Service Andrei Demchenko, noting that significant attention is paid to this area due to the close cooperation of Belarus with Russia. At the same time, according to his information, the situation on the border remains calm.
Nevertheless, at the moment, the State Border Service of Ukraine has increased the number of orders and as much as possible has intensified the work of units monitoring the situation in the regions bordering with Belarus.
