Protesters in Meghri blocked Pashinyan’s motorcade and he left the city

The Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan left the city of Meghri in the south of the country after protesters blocked his passage, RIA Novosti reported.

Prior to that, Pashinyan intended to walk through the streets of the settlement, accompanied by guards, police and the National Security Service, but the protesters did not allow him to do this, blocking the passage in front of the prime minister’s motorcade. People shouted anti-government slogans and publicly voiced their discontent.

After that, the Armenian prime minister got into the car and the motorcade drove off.

Earlier it was reported that the border services of the Russian Federation are organizing safe traffic on the road sections in the Syunik region. Prior to that, Yerevan and Baku agreed on the deployment of temporary combat positions there.
