US ambassador to Russia to travel to Washington for consultations

US Ambassador to Russia John Sullivan will travel to Washington this week for consultations with the administration of US President Joe Biden and then return to Moscow

 

This was reported by the Axios portal.

“Ambassador Sullivan will return to the US this week to meet with his family and representatives of the new administration, whom he has not had the opportunity to consult with since he agreed to continue in office indefinitely. He will return to Moscow in the coming weeks”, –  a State Department source told the portal.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian presidential aide Yuriy Ushakov, in a meeting with US ambassador to Moscow John Sullivan, recommended him to go to Washington for consultations.
