Kiev is not considering a scenario in which Ukraine will be left without financial support from the IMF. This has been stated by the head of the NBU, Kyrylo Shevchenko
Shevchenko said that such an option is not even considered. He stressed that cooperation with the fund, as well as with other international partners, plays an important role in financing the Ukrainian budget and economic growth of the country.
Postponing or slowing down the IMF programme, he said, would slow down Ukraine’s economic recovery.
