U.S. warns its airlines against flying over Ukraine

Corresponding orders are issued in connection with “possible risks of flight safety associated with the escalation of regional tensions between the Russian Federation and Ukraine”.

According to ЕАdaily, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recommended that American airlines fly over the flight information areas of Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk with extreme caution.

“Also among those requiring increased caution are the areas above Simferopol and above the bordering regions of the flight information regions of Moscow and Rostov-on-Don”, – the message says.

The information follows from the two air directives-notices (NOTAM) distributed by the department.
