Police officers on Saturday opened fire on protesting workers at a coal-fired power plant in southeastern Bangladesh, killing four and injuring many.
Reuters reported this with reference to a representative of local law enforcement agencies.
According to him, the police were forced to open fire when the protesters tried to attack them near a power station under construction in the city of Chittagong.
