The USA imposed sanctions against 5 individuals and 3 companies in Crimea, against 16 Russians and 16 legal entities “for interference in elections”;

“The Treasury Department is now imposing numerous sanctions aimed at countering the aggressive and harmful activities of the Russian government”, – the US Treasury said in a statement.
