The Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba accused Russia of “intimidation” and asked for “practical support” from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, TASS reports.
A briefing was held in Kiev, in which the Foreign Ministers of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics, Lithuania Gabrielyus Landsbergis and Estonia Eva-Maria Liimets took part.
“I am convinced that Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are always ready to support Ukraine not only in word, but also in concrete action, but I also asked my colleagues that they, as EU and NATO members, speak with other countries of these organizations about the need for practical support for Ukraine”, – Kuleba said at the briefing.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said that Russia “openly threatens Ukraine with war and intimidates with the destruction of Ukrainian statehood”. He also noted that Kiev “hopes for friends in order to protect its statehood”.
