Sputnik V vaccine to be produced in South Korea

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) signed an agreement on the production of the Sputnik V vaccine in South Korea with GL Rapha and ISU Abxis.

“RDIF, GL Rapha, one of South Korea’s leading biotechnology companies, and ISU Abxis (a division of the ISU Group) have signed an agreement on the technological transfer and production of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine in Korea”, – the RDIF said.

In February 2021, GL Rapha established a consortium for the production of the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V, which included eight leading pharmaceutical companies. Production of the drug at ISU Abxis in Yongin is expected to begin at the end of April.
