Biden may find himself under EU sanctions along with Poroshenko

The Biden family’s machinations in Ukraine could have a negative impact on US-EU relations

As previously reported by News Front, while still a vice-president, Joe Biden blackmailed Petro Poroshenko into firing Viktor Shokin from the post of Prosecutor General of Ukraine. The point is that Shokin started an investigation into financial fraud in the gas company Burisma, where Biden’s son was on the board of directors.

The prosecutor-general was replaced under pressure, which Biden has made no secret of. Shokin is now appealing to European human rights institutions. The dismissal was unlawful, which means Shokin is entitled to a fair trial, EU Reporter notes.

If he succeeds, the European Commission could impose sanctions on both former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and current US President Joe Biden. The restrictions would include a ban on entering the EU, as well as a freeze of finances within the bloc.
