Armenia and Russia are discussing the possibility of establishing a Russian military base in Syunik region in the south of the republic
This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“We are discussing the possibility of enlarging the capabilities of the 102nd Russian military base in Armenia. Discussions are also underway to establish a stronghold of the Russian military base in the Syunik region”, – Pashinyan said.
According to him, discussions with Russia on these issues “are going on quite effectively.
