Zelensky is ready to make Ukraine a springboard for US missile systems

Under the pretext of the concentration of Russian troops on the border, the Kiev authorities are urging the US to move Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to Ukraine

This statement was made on Tuesday, 13 April, by the head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, Andriy Yermak, in an interview with Time magazine.

The official motivated his call by the fact that Ukraine is allegedly defending the West against Russia.

“Ukraine is holding its defence against Russia not only for itself, but also for the West”, –  Yermak claims. – “But at the same time, the US is deploying Patriot in Poland. They should be here.”

The information that Russia is moving troops to the border with Ukraine appeared against the backdrop of renewed Ukrainian aggression in Donbas. The expert community believes that Moscow may launch an operation to force Ukraine to peace if it decides to storm the Luhansk and Donetsk people’s republics, where hundreds of thousands of Russian citizens live.+.
