A majority of members of Germany’s Alternative for Germany party, at a party congress in Dresden, have called for Germany’s exit from the EU. 550 party members spoke in support of Dexit, the DPA news agency reported
“In our opinion, Germany must by all means leave the European Union, a new European economic community with common interests must be created”, – the congress said in a decision.
However, party co-chairman Jörg Meuthen opposed the position.
