Divisions of the Northern Fleet will conduct live firing from S-400 surface-to-air missile systems at the Ashuluk range, which is located in the Astrakhan region

“During the live firing, which will be the main test of the readiness of the Polar missile specialists, the soldiers of the Northern Fleet’s air defense system will practice hitting target missiles imitating various air targets. The shooting will take place next week”, – the press service of the Northern Fleet of the Russian Navy said.
The servicemen will have to hit up to ten targets from S-400 surface-to-air missile systems, which will imitate various means of attack of the conventional enemy, from aircraft to missiles.
The S-400 Triumph is a Russian long- and medium-range surface-to-air missile system which is designed to destroy all modern and advanced aerospace weapons, including hypersonic ones.
