Ukrainian detained at Moldovan border with cartridges, grenade and drugs

The man had 120 cartridges for automatic weapons of 7.62 mm caliber and an F-1 grenade with a fuse.

Channel 112 Ukraine reports with reference to the press service of the State Border Guard Service that a man with cartridges, a grenade and drugs was detained at the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.

“Implementing the information of the SBU, a joint interdepartmental group detained a citizen of Ukraine who tried to illegally cross the border to leave Ukraine outside the checkpoints”, – the message says.

The violator was found tonight 20 meters from the state border at the site of the “Studenaya” branch. The man had 120 cartridges for automatic weapons of 7.62 mm caliber, an F-1 grenade with a fuse and a bag with a gray-green substance weighing 10 grams.

Procedural documents were drawn up against a citizen of Ukraine for attempting to illegally cross the state border and were detained by SBU officers in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
