“Nord Stream-2” called a threat to national security in Kiev

According to Deputy Prime Minister Reznikov, Ukraine will be irreparably weakened as soon as Russia launches the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.

As reported by Censor.NET with reference to RBC-Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov wrote in an article for The Wall Street Journal that the launch of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline will make Ukraine much weaker. It has implications for the national security of the country.

“Ukraine will be irreparably weakened as soon as Russia has a new direct gas pipeline to Germany”, – Reznikov said.

Reznikov insists that for Germany “there is no commercial need for another gas pipeline”.

“While Germany will gain little, Ukraine could lose billions of dollars in transit revenues”, – he said.
