Polish Foreign Minister urgently went to Ukraine

Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau urgently flew to Ukraine “because of the threat to peace”.

“Today, April 8, an extraordinary urgent visit of Minister Zbigniew Rau to Kiev will take place. The visit is associated with a threat to peace at the borders of Ukraine”, – the Polish Foreign Ministry said on Twitter.

Earlier, Western countries expressed concern over reports of the Ukrainian military about the build-up of Russian forces along the border with Ukraine. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that “the movement of Russian troops across the territory of Russia should not bother other states, since it does not threaten them in any way”.
