Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held a phone conversation with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and discussed the escalation in Donbass
Zelensky said he thanked Johnson for his unwavering support and that this is how Ukraine feels it is not alone.
“The head of state briefed the UK head of government on the deteriorating situation in Donbass”, – the statement said.
Zelensky, the press service noted, urged the British side, together with other NATO states, to strengthen its presence in the region and increase sanctions pressure on Russia.
“Particular attention is paid to the implementation of the agreements reached in this regard during the Ukrainian president’s visit to the UK on 8-9 October 2020, in particular the development of the Ukrainian navy”, – Zelensky’s office added
