The Russian frigate Admiral Kasatonov passes through the English Channel

According to TASS with reference to the Russian Defence Ministry, the Northern Fleet (NF) frigate of project 22350, Admiral Kasatonov, has entered the Channel Strait from the Bay of Biscay.

“A few days ago, the frigate completed the tasks of its first long-distance voyage in the Mediterranean Sea and entered the Atlantic Ocean”, – the report said.

During the voyage, which started on December 30, 2020, the frigate Admiral Fleet Kasatonov covered about 19,000 nautical miles and visited the ports of Algeria, Greece, Egypt, Cyprus, Syria and Turkey. The frigate’s long-distance voyage is supported by the salvage tug Nikolay Chiker and the medium sea tanker Vyazma.
