According to Ion Kiku, people have become more divided
According to stiri.md, former prime minister Ion Kiku, criticising the decisions taken by Maya Sandu and actions taken too late for the process of dissolving parliament, said that in the first 100 days of her presidential term Maia Sandu did almost nothing to consolidate society, which was promised during the election campaign.
“In the first 100 days of her mandate, I did not give an assessment of Ms Maya Sandu’s performance … After this term, as a citizen, I would only reproach the president for having done little or nothing to consolidate society, as she had promised in the campaign, and to restore civil peace. Moldovan citizens have become even more divided”, – said Kiku. – “Another thing to reproach her for is that she was so late in nominating candidates for the post of prime minister. If the first attempt had been made in the last days of December and the second attempt in early January, then in mid-February or no later than March 1, the conditions for the dissolution of parliament would have been met, and in June we would already have had a government voted on by a representative parliament.”
