Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said that the use of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine would help vaccinate everyone in the next 100 days.
“Despite the fact that many pharmaceutical companies supply only 50% of the amount of vaccines negotiated by the EU, in the next 100 days we will have the opportunity to offer at least the first vaccination to everyone who wishes to be vaccinated. If we use Sputnik V, we can even speed it up”, – said Kurz in a video message.
Earlier, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz met with Russian Ambassador Dmitry Lyubinsky and said that Moscow and Vienna are at the final stage before the conclusion of the deal on the purchase of Sputnik V. Kurz also noted that the Austrian government is discussing with doctors the issue of national registration of the Russian vaccine.
