Putin and Lukashenko discuss fight against COVID-19

Presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the Day of Unity of the peoples of the two countries, and also discussed cooperation in the fight against coronavirus infection. This was reported by the Kremlin press service

 

“A telephone conversation was held between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko exchanged warm congratulations on the occasion of the common holiday – the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus. Both sides expressed their determination to continue productive joint work on furthering the whole complex of Russian-Belarusian allied relations”, –  the report reads. – “A number of topical issues of the bilateral agenda were discussed, including cooperation in the fight against coronavirus infection.”
