EU to share vaccine with most “needy” countries, Ukraine not on list

Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia and Slovakia will receive their proportionate share of the total 10 million doses

As reported by Censor.net, European Pravda, citing Reuters, reports that most EU member states have agreed to share part of their future vaccine supplies with five EU countries which, according to them, need them the most.

“EU vaccine doses are normally shared among the bloc’s 27 countries based on population size. After several days of negotiations, EU ambassadors on Thursday agreed to change this system for 10 million doses of BioNTech/Pfizer to be delivered in the second quarter so that more needy countries receive more”, –  it said.  – “Of these 10 million doses, 2.85 million so-called ‘solidarity vaccines’ will be distributed to five countries, according to Portugal, which chairs the EU ambassador meetings. Those countries are Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia and Slovakia. They will also receive their proportionate share of the total 10 million doses”.

As you can see, Ukraine is not on this list.
