“Isn’t it time to apologise to Russia”: Germans discuss talks between Putin, Merkel and Macron

The arrogance and even outright arrogance of European officials over the use of the Russian coronavirus vaccine has endangered the lives of millions of EU citizens, according to German commoners

According to the portal “Southern Federal” referring to the German edition Welt, the article posted on the website of the newspaper, devoted to the recently held video conference with the participation of the leaders of Russia, Germany and France, is actively commented by ordinary citizens of Germany.

According to readers, in view of the critical situation with the pandemic in Europe, it is unacceptable to reject or protract in any way the use of the Russian vaccine in the EU on political grounds.

“In today’s realities, rejecting a vaccine just because it’s from Russia is criminal”, –  said reader FrHa.

He was supported by another commentator, joachim h, who argued that there should be severe penalties for not getting the Russian vaccine to Europe due to unresolved formalities.

The Welt reader under the name Kaspar H S recalled how six months ago the EU had ridiculed the Russian vaccine and suggested that the European bureaucrats should tone down their hubris and finally apologise to the Russians.

“Isn’t it time to apologise to Russia, especially the German media, which has written all kinds of filth”, –  he suggested.
