A dozen U.S. companies have urged White House President Joe Biden to stop his anti-Russian rhetoric and engage in constructive bilateral talks with Moscow
This was reported by The Hill.
“As national organisations promoting diplomacy, arms control, disarmament and peace, we are deeply troubled by recent negative exchanges between the two countries that own more than 90 per cent of the world’s nuclear warheads”, – the organisations said in a joint statement.
The representatives urged Biden to stop engaging in “reckless discussions” and continue his dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin on nuclear weapons, as the danger of a nuclear arms race between the two countries is becoming increasingly clear.
Biden had earlier said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin would “pay for interfering” in the US presidential election on 3 November 2020.
