Kiev says Putin, Merkel and Macron will not make important decisions without Zelensky

Ukrainian presidential spokeswoman Yulia Mendel said that talks between the leaders of Russia, Germany and France without the presence of the Ukrainian president do not mean that “any important decisions” on Donbass will be taken without Kiev’s position

“Ukraine continues negotiations with all the countries of the Normandy format at different levels, and no decisions can and will be taken without Ukraine’s participation”, –  Mendel is convinced.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel held a video conference to discuss the situation in Donbas and other topical issues. It is noteworthy that the Normandy format meeting was held without Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s participation.
