Dodon intends to discuss delivery of “Sputnik V” to Moldova

Former President of Moldova and leader of the Socialist Party Igor Dodon said that this week he will visit Moscow, where he plans to discuss the supply of the Sputnik V vaccine to the republic.

Earlier, Moldovan President Maia Sandu said that she had written a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin asking him to help him get the Sputnik V vaccine.

“Today I held a meeting of the parliamentary faction of the Socialist Party, where we analyzed the difficult socio-political and economic situation in the country, the epidemiological situation and the actions that need to be taken to overcome the crises we are facing. The delivery of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine to our country will become the main topic of the discussions that I will hold in Moscow this week”, – Dodon wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, the main priority today is the health and life of people, providing the country with vaccines and conducting mass vaccinations.
