President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky plans to discuss the situation in the Donbass with the leaders of the Normandy format countries.
According to the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Yulia Mendel, Zelensky intends to discuss the situation and further steps to achieve peace in Donbass with the leaders of the Normandy format countries – Angela Merkel, Emmanuel Macron and Vladimir Putin.
“The President initiated an urgent extraordinary meeting of the subgroup on security issues of the Trilateral Contact Group. He also intends to discuss the situation and further steps to achieve peace in Donbass with the leaders of the Normandy Four countries”, – Mendel said on the Dom TV channel.
According to Glavred, Mendel stressed that the number of cases of opening fire has increased since the beginning of the year, and the aggravation of the situation is especially noticeable against the background of the first months of the ceasefire.
